I have been so lucky during all of the company this past month, that we have had very few emergencies.
Post Christmas thankyou letters
It has been terribly hot and dry here- gardening is their only source of food
Ina was busy writing letters in February of 1963
A batch of letters
Alvin hiked to the Buangs
Tommy broke his collar bone last Friday

We have really had a busy month now before Christmas and I’ve just got to tell you all about it.
We just had a party for the confirmation class. A mere 200 people.
we heard of the Cuban crisis….
I am so anxious to hear how little Danny is doing.
A native pastor’s wife had her seventh girl tonight
Paula woke me up about midnight and Al still wasn’t home.
Well I didn’t quite make it all the way to Madang.
Perhaps our most frustrating part is trying to find out just where we fit in.
My house girls screamed that the horse was running away…
We order medicines from the government twice a year.
Al had a forceps and was helping to hold the suture tight as I sewed…
I plan my life out a day at a time, so my posting schedule can be erratic.
